Please join us for dinner and live music provided by “Deacon Blues” and “Further Adieu” on the deck of Grouper’s Restaurant in downtown Elizabeth City.

 

Great Food...

The meal will be catered by Grouper’s Restaurant and consists of shrimp Creole, chicken teriyaki, green beans, rice, salad, bread, and a beverage.  There will chicken fingers and French fries to fill the appetites of the youth.

             Hailing from the Northeastern corner of North Carolina, Further Adieu is a colorful assortment of well-rounded musicians, unafraid to deviate from the conventions set forth by simple “genre-isms”.  Diverse influences and music tastes have shaped their music into a vibrant style that appeals to a broad audience.  The band’s passion for performing is equally matched by its dedication to crafting a musical landscape that leaves the listener wanting more.  One can expect a flavorful repertoire of memorable original pieces as well as the unanticipated familiar favorite when checking them out live.

Deacon Blues captures the soul of guitar legends from Muddy Waters to Stevie Ray Vaughan.  They play blues straight out of the Swampland and hail from Northeastern North Carolina.  Adam Nixon a.k.a. “Deacon Blues”  is the guitarist, vocalist, and plays the harmonica for the band.
