Regatta Information

The Albemarle Hospice Regatta is a one-day event that promote sailing on the Pasquotank Rive while also promoting and supporting Albemarle Hospice.  It is a day of great competition and great fun.  Once the racing is completed skippers, crew, and family members enjoy a great meal and music as they receive trophies and enter to win donated prizes.  The day also hosts the Pasquotank River Yacht Club’s premier sailing event, the Archer Farmer Cup.

 

Registration:

 

The registration fee for those that register before August 5 will be $60 for big boats, $40 for small boats, and $50 for small boats that have a one person crew (youth).  If you register on August 5 at the Skipper’s Party or on August 6 at day of the race registration the fee increase $10.  This means that for big boats it will be $70, small boats will be $50 and small boats with one other crew member it will be $60.  Day of the event registration will be on Grouper’s Deck in Downtown Elizabeth City.  This fee includes one meal ticket, one t-shirt, and one skipper’s bag which will contain information about the day’s events.  The $50 ($60 after August 5) for a two person small boat includes two t-shirts and two meal tickets.  Extra meal tickets and t-shirts may be purchased for crew and family members.  For more information about the awards ceremony and meal click the Party Information tab on the left hand side of the webpage.

 

 

Schedule of Events: 

 

To view the schedule of events click the Party Information tab on the left hand side of the page. On the day of the race the schedule of events will be supplied for each skipper and will be available in the program booklet.

 

Scratch Sheet:

 

As the event nears make sure to check the scratch sheet.  This will allow you to know whether or not your registration has been received and know who will be competing in each class.
